Why You Need Senior Portraits, even if you have 96,482 selfies

This year is different…it just is! No I’m not talking about the pandemic, I’m talking about the fact that YOU (or your child) are a senior this year! Whether a high school senior or graduating college this is a year to remember, and part of remembering is documenting. Like every other year, it will fly by, time marches on and stops for no one. Graduation is a big milestone for many young adults and families, it should be marked as such. Sure you’re child has taken countless selfies but let’s be honest, those aren’t adorning your walls right now are they? Senior portraits are all about celebrating your graduate and who they are right now at this moment in time.

Are they athletic or into band? Are they more casual, formal, hipster, skater…maybe a combo of it all? Has there been a group of friends who have walked these years together? Getting Senior pictures done documents all of these things in a way that makes you want to hang that graduate up on the wall.

It’s also a chance to remember; remember all of the hard work that got you here, remember the people who supported you along the way, and it’s an opportunity to create something that will always HELP you remember in the future.
Make the parents happy :: Yup, it’s not all about you! This also marks a huge milestone for the parents who’ve supported you, driven you to so many practices or parties, and stayed up with you to help you finish strong. This moment deserves quality pictures that you can look back on fondly for years to come. A senior session with a professional photographer is a worthwhile investment.
